UBC attracts talented secondary and post-secondary education students from around the world.We honor the achievements of our incoming international students through of the (ILOT) program.The ILOT Award recognizes international students who are superior academic achievement, leadership, involvement in Student Affairs and community service, recognised achievement in fields of efforts such as the performing arts, sports, discuss or creative writing, external academic competitions or surveys demonstrate. ILOT Award winners will receive an award level consistent with their financial need as determined by the cost of their tuition, cost, and cost of living, minus the financial contribution of the student and their family members to deliver these costs on an annual basis can a standard-needs assessment is made on the basis of financial information provided by students and their families.The ILOT Award may be extended for up to three additional years of undergraduate study, or to degree completion, which is less, on condition that the student has achieved satisfactory academic standing in their faculty, continues to demonstrate financial need, and maintains their Canadian study permit (Visa)
Eligibility for stock market:
Award candidates must be nominated by their current school or College/University. to be considered for a ILOT Award you must:
entering a program of UBC undergraduate degree from an accredited high school, college or other University;receptive to the first choice program you are applying, including meetings of UBC English Languauge Admission Standardhave an excellent academic record (at least one “A” average or equivalent standard);a level of financial distress you in pursuit of a degree of UBC are an international student, who is neither a permanent resident of Canada as a Canadian citizen, and who will be studying in Canada on a Canadian study permit (Visa);demonstrate.

How to apply:
If you wish to be considered for an award, speak to your school or College/University counsellor. If you are accepted for nomination, the Advisor must use the ILOT nomination package.
Last date to apply:
The last date to apply is 31 January 2011.
